PLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc. is proud to provide Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) and Joint Surveillance and Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) units around the world with the highest quality Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) interactive software to manage the virtual battlespace. We offer several software and communication programs that merge simulation and reality for realistic and accurate training. Award-winning Mission Training Center (MTC) sites are supported by PLEXSYS at US AWACS units located at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma; Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska; Kadena Air Base, Japan and to the NATO AWACS unit located at NATO Air Base Geilenkirchen, Germany. Along with the various MTC sites, an AWACS Mission Simulator (AMS) is located in the Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC) at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. PLEXSYS also provides an E-3D Mission Training System (MTS) to the Distributed Synthetic Air Landing Training (DSALT) facility at Royal Air Force (RAF) Waddington, United Kingdom. In addition to these E-3 MTCs, PLEXSYS provides a Distributed Mission Operations (DMO)-compliant Entity Generator for training JSTARS mission crews at the Robins AFB MTC. The AWACS systems are PLEXSYS-engineered replications of the Operations Flight Program (OFP) that emulates the functional components of the mission crew consoles to include all operational and communication functions. Additionally, PLEXSYS provides simulation and communication interfaces for the French AWACS Mid-Life Upgrade Mission Crew Trainers at Avord Air Base, France and will soon deploy a Mission Crew Training Set (MCTS) to Hamamatsu Air Base, Japan to support the Japanese E-767 AWACS training program. The OFP emulation for these systems is accomplished using software provided by the Boeing Company, the aircraft and OFP manufacturer, along with an interface to PLEXSYS provided simulation tools for Environment Generation and Communications Emulation and Simulation.

Environment and Scenario Generation
ASCOT: The Advanced Simulation Combat Operations Trainers (ASCOT), when packaged with specific AWACS functionality, becomes the Instructor Operator Station (IOS). ASCOT is a powerful exercise generator for not only AWACS air crew, but all those who connect to the simulation. ASCOT provides the virtual battle-space around the simulated AWACS to train all mission crew positions. It emulates all entity types with realistic maneuver capabilities, emissions generation and direction, weapons employment and data-link. ASCOT accommodates networking multiple systems at a single site or at multiple sites around the world for dynamic large scale joint exercises.
Radio Simulation and LVC Communications
sonomarc: sonomarc is radio sonomarc simulation at its best. It enables E-3 crews to train using exact replicas of the onboard Mission Audio Panels (MAP). From fighter cockpits and ground based communications to civilian aviation, sonomarc connects LVC systems across multiple platforms. sonomarc is designed to integrate with existing communication systems and is plug and play for quick and efficient setup and use. Clean and lightweight touch screen technology provides intuitive interfacing at your fingertips.
Distributed After Action Review
EMRRS: The Enhanced Mission Record and Review System () provides time-synchronized recording and playback of combined mission videos with audio and DIS data, all in ultra HD. This powerful system provides the academic and tactical instructor to present student performance in a practical format. EMRRS was the first system to be fielded that allows synchronized recording and HD playback of combined mission videos and is a key component of the AWACS trainer capabilities.
