PLEXSYS’ UK E-3D AWACS Mission Training System (MTS) supported AWACS Mission Crew members from 8 Sqn, RAF Waddington, participating in Exercise COALITION VIRTUAL FLAG 13-4, 13-20 Sep 2013. The PLEXSYS E-3D simulator at RAF Waddington connected with the Distributed Missions Operations Centre (DMOC), Kirtland AFB, NM, for the E-3D AWACS MTS’ second CVF event. Continued success in Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) for the PLEXSYS MTS was again of high significance.  Not only did the PLEXSYS systems deliver high quality training, they did it without interruption and without faults. For the RAF Waddington’s Air Battlespace Training Centre (ABTC), this is extremely significant as it can be relied on to deliver in a DMO environment and the message from the UK customer is……….PLEXSYS products deliver consistently. For the E-3D mission crew members, high level training was achieved, including the first time that a completely successful E-3D to Royal Australian Air Force Wedgetail station handover was achieved, which was a very important operational training objective.
