PLEXSYS Announces Diagnostics 7.5 Release, Delivering Enhanced Insight and Control for Simulation Analysis
Sep 29, 2025

CAMAS, WA (September 29, 2025) — PLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc. (PLEXSYS), a global leader in modeling and simulation solutions, today announced the release of Diagnostics 7.5, the latest version of its widely used simulation traffic analysis suite. Built for mission-critical training and development environments, Diagnostics 7.5 empowers users with deeper insight into simulation data, enhanced troubleshooting capabilities, and improved workflow efficiency.
“With Diagnostics 7.5, we are not just keeping pace with new standards and protocols; we are giving our customers tools to understand better, adapt, and succeed in complex training environments,” said Davor Braut, Product Manager for Diagnostics at PLEXSYS. “By expanding support for emerging datalink and radio standards, while improving performance and usability, Diagnostics continues to be the go-to solution for simulation analysis and troubleshooting worldwide.”
Diagnostics includes both the DIS Packet Analyzer (DPA) and the HLA Packet Analyzer (HPA), providing robust tools for analyzing, recording, and replaying simulation traffic. These applications enable developers, testers, operators, and system integrators to capture and interpret complex simulation data, including tactical datalink messages such as Link 16, Link 11, Link 4, VMF, CIB, LU2, and now SDB II UHF Datalink. By helping users identify issues quickly and understand the detailed content of DIS and HLA messages, Diagnostics directly supports the reliability and fidelity of today’s most demanding training environments.
With the 7.5 release, PLEXSYS has delivered new capabilities that streamline workflows and expand analysis options. These include support for the SATURN radio standard, SISO-REF-010 enumeration updates, and the ability to sort PDUs by Munition ID, enabling faster correlation and event reconstruction. Improvements to PDU parsing performance, expanded unit test coverage, and updated software dependencies ensure Diagnostics continues to deliver high-quality, high-reliability performance in both ITAR-controlled and commercial builds.
Beyond protocol support, Diagnostics 7.5 builds on recent innovations that enhance usability and situational awareness, including dockable UI panels, an active entities list view, an interactive PDU map view, and the ability to create reports. Combined with extensibility through the DPA public API and distributed debrief capabilities (DDCP), these features allow organizations to tailor Diagnostics to their unique training and operational needs.
Diagnostics remains available on both Windows and Linux platforms, with flexible licensing options to support enterprise, program, and site-level deployments.
