CAMAS, WA (August 10, 2023) – PLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc. (PLEXSYS) is excited to announce the successful conclusion of the annual PLEXSYS Users' Group (PUG), which took place last week in Vancouver, WA. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our valued customers for making this event a resounding success. The PUG provided an exceptional platform for showcasing cutting-edge Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training tools alongside the latest advancements in Modeling and Simulation (M&S) technologies, meticulously tailored to support training solutions for air, land, space, and maritime platforms.

The PUG, a much-anticipated event within the industry, offered a remarkable opportunity to gain valuable insight into PLEXSYS' latest solutions and innovations. It fostered engaging discussions, facilitated the sharing of developments, and allowed the exchange of ideas about future requirements. The event was firmly rooted in our commitment to enhancing the attending warfighters' LVC training and readiness capabilities. Throughout the conference, our proficient engineers and operators conducted comprehensive demonstrations and provided in-depth information to our esteemed customers present.

Highlighted during the event were key products and solutions:

  • Advanced Simulation Combat Operations Trainer (ASCOT) 7: We showcased ASCOT 7, a dynamic and intuitive Computer-Generated Forces (CGF) platform seamlessly integrated into M&S environments. Its state-of-the-art user interface, modular and scalable design, and adaptable database simplified the development of complex training scenarios, catering to diverse needs and budgets.
  • Sonomarc Communications Suite: Participants explored this sophisticated client-server communication system, offering modern, automated, and flexible communication capabilities and audio distribution. It facilitated standards-compliant connections to simulation protocols like DIS and HLA.
  • Video, Audio, and Data for After-Action Review (VADAAR) 2: VADAAR 2 enabled users to globally stream, record, and review video, audio, and data from various devices. This capability allowed users to capture screens, record streams, and collect crucial data for effective after-action reviews.
  • Utilities Product Line: This versatile set of tools, designed to monitor, augment, and enhance simulation environments, was also showcased. DIS Packet Analyzer (DPA) was employed to monitor, troubleshoot, record, and playback DIS protocols. Launch Control streamlined the setup, startup, and closing of Apps for multiple workstations from a centralized location with a single click of a mouse. Direct Link Interface (DLI) facilitated the creation of the Live, Virtual, and Constructive environment by interfacing live operational data link terminals to the simulated world, thus creating a constructive environment. StrataSim empowered users to inject terrain or various forms of weather, significantly enhancing the realism of the simulation environment.
